The Magnetic Vehicle Stator Restraint (MVSR) and Restraining Rod (Flyswatter) are used to hold the stator of the slip ring in place while it is being used on a vehicle. The MVSR is a magnetic system that mounts onto the vehicle. The Flyswatter is attached to the stator of the slip ring and secured with the MVSR. The Flyswatter is a nylon flexure attached to an aluminum tube. The aluminum tube extends upward and engages the bracket, which is magnetized to the vehicle body panel above the wheel.
