End of Shaft Slip Ring Assemblies

MSC slip ring assemblies are designed to mount on the end of a rotating shaft and make electrical connections to strain gages, thermocouples, or other rotating sensors.

Michigan Scientific End of Shaft Slip Ring Assemblies are typically used for torque, stress, temperature, vibration and acceleration measurements on such rotating devices as wheels, axles, engines, gearboxes, electric motors, compressors, etc.

 

S-Series

  • Optical encoder for measuring average RPM
  • 60 pulses / revolution standard
  • Single channel

SR/PE512

  • Precision optical encoder for measuring torsional vibration, rpm and angular position
  • Encoder has 2 channel quadrature output (for determining direction of rotation) and an index pulse
