The MUX-BC-12 is a twelve-channel strain gage amplifier and multiplexer. Each of its six radial connectors takes two quarter-bridge gages with a 3-wire hook-up. The unit provides bridge completion, excitation, amplification and digitization, and sends all twelve channels on one CAN 2.0 or CAN FD bus.
Made for rotating measurements
On a rotating part, the MUX-BC-12 pairs with a four-connection slip ring such as the S4. It digitizes at the gages, on the rotor: only power and CAN pass through the slip ring. Four units stack and synchronize for 48 strain channels.

Software included
The configuration software sets each channel, starts a shunt calibration and records data to a PC. A shunt calibration can also run automatically at power-up.
