The CBT-mini (Clamping Battery Telemetry) is a wireless, battery-powered transmitter for one strain gage bridge. It mounts on any shaft of 25 mm diameter or more. It supplies the bridge excitation, conditions the signal and transmits it digitally on a 2.4 GHz RF link, without interference or signal spikes.
Strapped to the shaft
The CBT-mini straps to the shaft with load-rated plastic zip ties, steel banding or a hose clamp. The housing is small, light and rugged, rated IP67 for hostile environments. On higher-speed shafts that need balancing, a counterweight is available; it mounts 180° opposite the transmitter.
Applications include vehicle, agricultural and durability testing, on the road and on test rigs.
