The TF Series torque flange measures torque, speed and position in a rotating shaft line. It mounts on dynos, motors, engines, gearboxes and axles, for efficiency, fatigue, end-of-line and hybrid drive testing.
Wireless, without bearings
Signal transmission uses Michigan Scientific wireless telemetry. The stator powers the transmitter by induction, and the torque data goes to the receiver by RF. The design has no bearings and nothing to maintain. A speed and position encoder, with a resolution set to the customer’s request, can be integrated.
The interface box supplies the system and provides the analog and digital outputs for data acquisition.
