CT440 three-axis crash barrier load cell
The CT440 is a three-axis load cell for crash and impact tests against a barrier, with a natural frequency above 1 800 Hz. It mounts to a rigid plate and measures up to 440 kN on the impact axis (Fx) and 120 kN on Fy and Fz.
Its sibling, the CT500, measures 500 kN and 125 kN.
The cell is made of high-grade stainless steel, sealed to IP66, with all electronics mounted internally and a Mil-Spec circular connector. It works with any data acquisition system; size, load capacity and number of axes can be customized.
