CT501 single-axis crash barrier load cell
The CT501 is the single-axis version of the CT500: it measures the impact force (Fx) up to 500 kN, with a natural frequency above 1 800 Hz, and mounts to a rigid plate.
In the Instrumented Crash Barrier System, 64 cells come mounted on a 1 m² stainless steel plate at 125 mm spacing, with the signal wires routed inside the plate. The system mounts to the customer’s barrier frame, and several systems extend the barrier face. The system takes CT501 cells, or CT500 three-axis cells.
The cell is made of high-grade stainless steel, sealed to IP66, with all electronics mounted internally and a Mil-Spec circular connector. It works with any data acquisition system; size, load capacity and number of axes can be customized.
